July Classes

At the beginning of July I ran a couple of classes and taught the Floating Frame technique. The sample I did first off didn’t quite go to plan but managed to fix it and come up with another way to show the technique. We had so much fun with the technique and the great thing was that with the one technique we produced two cards! 

I had to laugh as one of the ladies stamped her sentiment which didn’t turn out so she turned the card over and re-stamped the sentiment (Best Wishes) and cut it out….. To our amazement the sentiment was exactly in the same position (see the photo). 


At the end of one of the class we had half an hour still left so we all decided to make up an easy quick card on the spot…. Wow! The cards were gorgeous.  We used some sponges and three ink colours and sponged the colours on a Whisper White card.  On top of the sponging the three ladies picked out stamp(s) and stamped them.  We then boarded the sponged card with a contrasting colour and then onto a Whisper White thick card.
