πŸ’– Berry Burst Week 9 — Art With Heart Colour Hop

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order, and Week 9 is all about Berry Burst.

This week’s project is my weekly journal page, and I’m genuinely so happy with how it turned out. I was inspired by some beautiful cards created by the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Team — I didn’t catch the name of the designer, but their work definitely sparked the direction for this layout.

My starting point was the SDSP I knew I wanted to use: Velvet Meadow. Wow. This paper is absolutely stunning — rich, textured, and with that gorgeous flocked feel. Once I chose it, everything flowed naturally.

I used a mix of dies and stamp sets:

  • Boutique Blossom Bundle

  • Fern & Flora Dies

  • Scalloped Blooms Bundle

The sentiments are from Scalloped Blooms, stamped in Berry Burst on Basic White. Card colours this week: Berry Burst, Basic Beige, Basic White, Bubble Bath, and Peaceful Pine (both the two‑tone and pearlized).

I embellished with the 2026–2028 In Color™ Butterflies, colouring them with my Berry Burst Blend. I embossed the Basic Beige layers using Fern & Flora. I also added strips of Velvet Meadow SDSP to the journalling cards for extra interest.

The flowers and leaves beside the Have a Good Day sentiment are fussy‑cut from Velvet Meadow. The SDSP pocket holding my journalling cards is torn at the top — the little peek of white gives it a soft shabby‑chic feel.

🌊 Balmy Blue — Art With Heart Colour Creations Week 7

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order, and Week 7 is all about Balmy Blue πŸ’™

This week’s project is my weekly journal page, and my starting point—besides beautiful Balmy Blue—was the Scenic Coast SDSP. The papers in this pack are absolutely gorgeous and instantly became my focal point.

✂️ Measurements
  • Balmy Blue cardstock: 190mm x 132mm

  • Scenic Coast SDSP: 184mm x 126mm

  • Waterside Retreat DSP: 126mm x 50mm

  • Scraps: Balmy Blue + Basic White for sentiments and details

πŸͺ΅ Building the Page

I layered the Scenic Coast SDSP onto the Balmy Blue card base, then created a hidden journaling spot using the Waterside Retreat DSP. The wood‑grain pattern gave me the perfect place to add the Relaxing Waterside chair and seagull — giving the page a cosy, peaceful feel very similar to last week’s book‑and‑chai‑latte moment.

I stamped all sentiments in Balmy Blue and cut them using a mix of dies from Extraordinary Life and the Banner Punch. I stamped Have A Great Day directly onto the SDSP, but wasn’t happy with how “Day” stamped — so I re‑stamped it on Balmy Blue cardstock and popped it up on a dimensional to cover it. Much better!

The seagulls in the sky and beside the chair are stamped in Smoky Slate, while the one on the SDSP is stamped in black. The little pebbles near the chair legs are from April’s Paper Pumpkin kit. I coloured the seagull’s beak with Light Pumpkin Pie Blends, and added a touch of Balmy Blue blending to the chair.

πŸ““ Journal Booklet

My journaling cards are punched using the Rounded Rectangle Punch. I scored each at 5mm and adhered them to another punched piece to create a tiny booklet — perfect for tucking away my written memories for the week.

I hope this project inspires you 🧑 Happy Stamping Hx

πŸ’— Bubble Bath Week 12 — Art With Heart Colour

This week in the Art With Heart Team Colour Hop, we’re celebrating Bubble Bath — such a soft, happy colour to create with. For Week 12, I’ve created a journal page and a thank you card, both inspired by the Accordion Fan Box Card design.

Card with the boxes open at the top, I filled the boxes with chocolates and popped in the thank you note.

Back of the card, I didn't decorate the back, but you could use this space to add your message.

I mixed bundles, used leftover stamped pieces, and added playful details — including folding my journalling pages into mini fans so they fit neatly inside the side boxes. The thank you card follows the same design, with the boxes perfect for holding chocolates.

πŸ’œ Blackberry Bliss Week 10 — Art With Heart Colour Creations Hop

This week in the Art With Heart Team Colour Creations Hop, we’re celebrating Blackberry Bliss — such a rich, elegant colour and perfect for my journal page project.

Journal Page Full View Full layout of my Blackberry Bliss journal page for Week 10 — showcasing the Balloon Festoon elements, embossed background, and layered colours.

Balloon Journalling Pages The Balloon Festoon balloons hiding behind the Bubble Bath Balloon.

Balloon journalling pages These are the pages that I will be writing my thoughts on.

Embossed Blackberry Bliss Background Close‑up of the Swirls of Magic embossing folder on Blackberry Bliss, finished with Copper WOW! embossing powder for that magical shine.

There’s a little story behind this week’s page! I adore the Balloon Festoon Bundle and knew I’d use it a lot… but when my order arrived a few weeks ago, the dies were missing. After contacting Stampin’ Up!, I found out they had gone out of stock 😩. And of course — when you have lots of dies and stamps to choose from, you always seem to want the one you can’t use. That is definitely me lol.

I received the notification that the dies were finally on their way, so I went ahead and started the journal page — at least the stamping — ready for when they arrived. The notification said Wednesday, but I took a little risk and hoped they might turn up early… and I’m so pleased to say they did! So happy.

To build the page, I combined a few favourites: • Scalloped Blooms DiesWords & Wishes Bundle (the cute little presents) • Boutique Blossoms Bundle (love that tiny flower!)

Colours used: Blackberry Bliss, Hydrangea Hue Pearlized Specialty Paper, Bubble Bath, Barely Blush (on the balloons), Garden Green, Shaded Spruce, and Basic White.

I embossed the Blackberry Bliss outer layer using the new Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder, then heat‑embossed with Copper WOW! Embossing Powder for that gorgeous shine. On the Hydrangea Hue layer, I added Shimmer Brush for extra sparkle. Sentiments are stamped in Blackberry Bliss.

✂️ Measurements

Journal Page

  • Blackberry Bliss base: 190mm x 132mm

  • SDSP layer: 170mm x 112mm

  • Blackberry Bliss (extra): half an A4 sheet for balloons + flowers

  • Bubble Bath (large balloon): 148mm x 105mm

  • Scraps: Basic White, Hydrangea Hue, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green

I hope this project inspires you.

Art With Heart Colour Creations – Week 6: Azure Afternoon πŸ’™

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order, and Week 6 is all about Azure Afternoon πŸ’™

This week’s project is my weekly journal page, inspired by a few of my favourite things — relaxing by the sea, reading a good book, journaling, sipping a hot strong chai latte, and a little ice‑cream shop not too far away. Azure Afternoon pairs beautifully with the colours in the Relaxing Waterside DSP, and the gorgeous little scenes in this pack make creating a journal page so simple.

Project Measurements πŸ“

  • Relaxing Waterside DSP (main panel) — 190mm x 132mm

  • Relaxing Waterside DSP – Waves — 132mm x 80mm

  • Relaxing Waterside DSP – Wood — 132mm x 50mm

  • Azure Afternoon Cardstock (behind ice‑cream scene) — 105mm x 83mm

These layers create the soft coastal background and the structure for the journaling pockets tucked behind the scene.

The main DSP panel (190mm x 132mm) sets the tone for the page. I layered the waves and wood patterns to build a calm, coastal feel 🌊 that works perfectly with the Relaxing Waterside imagery.

Project Details ✨

Journal Page Layout

Full journal page — Azure Afternoon brings all the seaside colours together beautifully πŸ’™.

Ice‑Cream Scene Panel 🍦

Ice‑cream shop scene — trimmed to size using Perennial Postage Dies ✂️.

Behind the ice‑cream scene sits an Azure Afternoon panel (105mm x 83mm) cut with the Perennial Postage Dies. I shortened the die‑cut by lining the piece back into the die and running it through the Cut & Emboss Machine again — a handy trick when you need a custom size.

Relaxing Waterside Elements πŸͺ‘πŸ“š☕

seagulls — stamped in Smoky Slate.

The chair, cup, book and seagulls all come from the Relaxing Waterside stamps and dies.

  • Book + cup: stamped in Azure Afternoon on Very Vanilla

  • Seagulls: stamped in Smoky Slate

  • Chair: coloured with hints of Poppy Parade ❤️ to make it pop against the cool blues

Journaling Pages ✍️

Journaling pockets created with Extraordinary Life — loving the Top Five Gratitude stamp πŸ™.

Behind the scene are my journaling pages, created using the Extraordinary Life bundle. The Top Five Gratitude stamp is becoming a favourite — such a helpful prompt each week.

Sentiments & Finishing Touches πŸ’¬.

All sentiments are stamped in Azure Afternoon on Very Vanilla and cut using:

  • Stylish Shapes Dies

  • Banner Punch

These small details help tie the whole page together while keeping the colour story consistent.

I hope this inspires you. Happy Stamping Hx 🧑
