Saturday Morning Class

Last Saturday I had a girlfriend pop in for a card class. Another girlfriend was also planning to come over but has had a nasty fall.... sending our thoughts that she has a speedy recovery, we missed her company.  My girlfriend did a fabulous job with her cards and it was so lovely to chat and join in with her and make some cards myself.  Below are the cards that we both made.

Thursday's Class Photos

Below are photos of all the cards made at last Thursday's class. We all had a great night.  There were some amazing designs and new techniques to try - masking, brayer ink technique and a new way to tie a knot with ribbon.  A few of the ladies decided to branch out and change the card designs.  It is wonderful to see everyone make their cards a personal creation and come up with something different.

One of the ladies started her first card.  She set up the 2 thinlits, then one went flying. We spent the next 2 hours in between making cards trying to find this one thinlit. We even suggested the 2 ladies involved needed to be patted down just in case it had stuck to their clothing. Everyone's shoes where checked before leaving and even the dog was patted down! After everyone left my partner and I cleaned the area where the class had been held.... I cleared everything away from the class and after 2 hours I had given up finding it. I went to move the plates from the Big Shots and there it was sitting on the plate we had been using throughout the class.  I could've sworn that I had checked all the plates.  I was very happy to find it again and so was the lady that thought she had lost it. 😅😅😅

February Occasions Card Class

Hello!

I am running 2 classes, one this Thursday 8th and one on Saturday 17th. Below are photos of some of the cards  that are on offer to make in the class including a new technique for everyone to try especially the regular attendees of my classes.  There is still room on Saturday 17th class. Leave me message below or email me if you are interested in joining Saturday class.

This card has been designed to be used for a few different occasions, for example Birthdays, Anniversaries or Weddings. I haven't decided yet which occasion I will use it for.

I made a copy of this card as a thank you for a work colleague who organised a keep cup for me.

As I was making a few "Tutti Frutti" cards I thought these would also make good get well cards too.

I made this up for a wedding I went to in January. With the Stampin Up letters it made it easy to create the Bride and Grooms initials. I will be using this design again for anniversaries and birthdays.
