🌟 Art With Heart Team Colour Creations Blog Hop – Week 3: Golden Glow

This week the Art With Heart Team continues our alphabetical colour hop, and our focus is the warm and beautiful Golden Glow. My project for this week is my weekly journal page, created with the Fern & Floral Suite and the stunning Moonlit Flora DSP. I’m loving this combination more each time I use it.✨

My Golden Glow Journal Page

Week 3 journal page featuring Golden Glow with Fern & Floral and Moonlit Flora DSP. I couldn’t decide between two sheets of the Moonlit Flora DSP, so I used both. One sheet forms the booklet pages where I’ll write my journal entries, and the other sheet is used for the little rectangles, which I popped up on dimensionals so I can slide notes behind themπŸ“˜creating the booklet pages.

Booklet pages cut with Extraordinary Life Dies and extended for extra writing space. The booklet pages are cut using the Extraordinary Life Dies, I didn't cut right to the side, so the pages are longer than the die itself. I scored each page, so it opens easily for writing — a simple trick that makes journaling much more comfortable.🌸

Stamped Flowers & Die‑Cut Details

Stamped flowers from Extraordinary Life Dies with Fern & Floral flower dies used as leafy accents. I didn’t realise the Fern & Floral Suite also had flower dies, and I had cut out some "flowers" in Peaceful Pine, so not wanting to waste these I used those as leaves behind the stamped flowers — and I love the layered effect it created.

🎨 Colour Palette & Embellishments

My colour palette this week includes:
  • Golden Glow
  • Bubble Bath
  • Berry Burst
  • Peaceful Pine
I finished the page with the 2026–2028 In Color Dots, which add the perfect touch of sparkle.

I Hope This Inspires You

Thank you for joining me for Week 3 of our Colour Creations Hop. I hope this project inspires your own journaling, memory‑keeping, or cardmaking. Happy Stamping, Hx 🧑

Crisp Cantaloupe – Art With Heart Team Colour Hop (Week 2)

Week 2 of the Art With Heart Team Colour Hop is here, and this week we’re celebrating the soft, peachy glow of Crisp Cantaloupe. For my project, I created a weekly journal page using the beautiful Waterside Retreat suite. The gentle tones and peaceful imagery pair perfectly with this In Color.Journal

Page LayoutBase layers & measurements:

  • Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock: 190mm × 132mm
  • Waterside Retreat DSP (main panel): 102mm × 132mm
  • Smaller DSP pieces: cut to the size they appear on the sheet (no trimming needed)
These layers create pockets where I can tuck in my weekly journaling pages behind the larger DSP and slip little words of encouragement behind the smaller pieces.

Fussy‑Cut Bicycle & Spoke‑Tracing Technique
I wanted the bicycle to be a feature, so I fussy cut the bicycle and removed the center of the wheel. To add the spokes back onto the DSP, I used a simple tracing‑paper method:
  • Trace the spokes lightly in pencil onto tracing paper.
  • Flip the tracing paper face‑down onto the DSP.
  • Shade over the back of the traced lines — the pencil transfers onto the DSP.
  • Adhere the bicycle over the transferred spokes.
I was genuinely impressed with how well this worked. It looked so good that I ended up using that bicycle on a card instead of the journal page. The bicycle on the journal page is a fresh one — I didn’t repeat the spoke technique because I wanted to 3D the bike, and time was not on my side.

Cattail Reeds – Layered Colour Technique

To add more detail around the bicycle, I cut four cattail reeds:
  • Two in Old Olive
  • Two in Crisp Cantaloupe
I trimmed the cattails off the Crisp Cantaloupe pieces and adhered them onto the Old Olive reeds. This gave me two‑tone cattails that coordinated beautifully with the rest of the page. I then attached them in front the bicycle for a soft, natural look.

Sentiments

All sentiments are stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock using Crisp Cantaloupe ink from the Waterside Retreat stamp set. The warm tone keeps everything cohesive and gentle.

Finishing Touches

I added In Color dots for texture and interest. They give just enough dimension without overwhelming the soft palette.

Art With Heart InstaHop – Barely Blush (Week 1)

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order, and week 1 is all about Barely Blush — such a soft and beautiful colour to start us off πŸ’•

Today I’m sharing my weekly journal page and a coordinating card featuring this lovely shade.

A soft and elegant card featuring Barely Blush with layered elements and delicate details.

A closer look at the cake with Wink of Stella shimmer which unfortunately is hard to see in the photo.

I’ve used the March Product of the Month – Eyelet Blooms Dies. As expected, these have now sold out, and I do apologise for including them, but I truly hope you were able to secure them before they disappeared.

To complement the dies, I’ve been focusing on my new favourite bundle, Words & Wishes. I can already tell this will be a well-loved set — I absolutely love that each word comes with a shadow. It’s perfect to use on its own or to mix and match with other stamp sets.

Colour Combination

  • Lemon Lolly
  • Real Red
  • Garden Green
  • Crisp Cantaloupe

Colour Combination
The beautiful colour palette: Barely Blush, Lemon Lolly, Real Red, Garden Green, and Crisp Cantaloupe.

I added a touch of Wink of Stella to the cake for a little sparkle ✨ and used the 2026–2028 In Color Dots in the centres of the Lemon Lolly flowers for a fun finishing touch.

I’ve also used Barely Blush cardstock along with the Two-Tone Cardstock, which I just love — especially how it comes as a bundle with all the 2026–2028 In Colors.

My weekly journal page combining Barely Blush with fresh, bright colours for a cohesive look.

Layered florals created with the Eyelet Blooms Dies and finished with subtle sparkle.

Highlighting the Words & Wishes bundle — I love the shadow detail behind each sentiment.  A close up look at the In Color Dots in the centres of the Lemon Lolly flowers.

Art With Heart Team Colour Creations • Week 50: Summer Splash

This week the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order, and we’ve arrived at Week 50 — Summer Splash. What a gorgeous colour to play with!

For my project, I created my weekly journal page, and once again I reached for the Rolling Waves Bundle. I paired it with the Cutest Crew and a brand‑new Online Exclusive available now in May 2026 — the Splash & Relax Bundle. As we inch closer to winter here in Australia, I wanted to hold onto those warm summer vibes just a little longer.

---

Why a Summer Scene?

We often take our dog, Ollie, to the dog beach, so it felt only natural to add some playful pups into my scene. The new Splash & Relax Bundle stole my heart instantly — it’s perfect for fun, sunny, coastal projects.

Summer Splash as a colour inspired me to build a full beachy summary scene, full of movement, texture, and bright pops of colour.

---

Colour Palette & Products

To complement Summer Splash, I combined:

- Pretty Peacock
- Melon Mambo
- Balmy Blue
- Crumb Cake
- Basic White
- Pretty in Pink

The DSP is a brand‑new release available now in May 2026 called Scenic Coast — it worked beautifully with the coastal theme.

For the journal pages, I used the Perennial Postage Dies and stamped the sentiments and images from Splash & Relax, hiding the pages behind the sea for a fun layered effect. All sentiments on the journal page are stamped in Summer Splash ink.

---

A Closer Look at the Journal Page

This week’s layout is all about movement — rolling waves, splashing pups, and bright summer colour. I love how the Rolling Waves Bundle adds texture and depth, while the Scenic Coast DSP brings the whole scene to life.

I hope my journal page inspires you to create something sunny, even as the weather cools down.

Happy Stamping,

Art With Heart Colour Creations – Week 49: Soft Sea Foam

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order, and Week 49 is all about Soft Sea Foam 🩡

My Project – Coastal Journal Page

This week I’m sharing my latest project: a coastal‑inspired journal page created using two gorgeous bundles — Rolling Waves and Help Me Grow. Soft Sea Foam is the star of the show, paired with Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Beige and Basic White for a soft yet uplifting palette.

I stamped my sentiments in Soft Sea Foam on Coastal Cabana cardstock and used Basic Beige to create the sandy area. I used the Stylish Shapes Dies and the Three Banner Punch to cut out the sentiments. The embellishments are from Antique Pearls, adding a soft shimmer.

The backing cardstock is 132mm x 190mm and the Coastal Cabana cardstock is 132mm x 110mm

Details & Close‑Ups

The journal pages are tucked behind the sea, with the top edge cut using the wave die. On each journal page, I stamped the starfish and clam shells in Soft Sea Foam for a subtle, coordinated detail.

My husband suggested adding more texture to the sand, so I used the “dirt” die from Help Me Grow — and it worked perfectly! I even added a little piece into the pot for extra dimension.

A Fun Colour Story

[Insert Photo of Colour Palette or Supplies]

While designing this project, I realised I was wearing Soft Sea Foam sweatpants and trying to work out what colours I could wear with them. I grabbed the Colour Coach and found both a Pumpkin Pie top and a Highland Heather top… and that combo ended up inspiring the entire project. Inspiration really does pop up in unexpected places.

I hope this project inspires you to play with Soft Sea Foam in your own crafting. Happy Stamping πŸ’• Hx

✨ Art With Heart Colour Creations – Week 48: Smoky Slate

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order, and this week we featured Smoky Slate.  If you go to my Instagram account - https://www.instagram.com/apaperparadise/#, you will be able to see what the other's in the group made using the same colour.

For Week 48, I created two coordinating projects — a card for my brother and my weekly journal page. I also wanted to combine a few stamp and die bundles that are on the Last Chance list and give them one more creative outing before they’re gone.

---

🐾 Bundles & DSP Used

Stamp & Die Bundles:
- Cutest Crew
- Gears & Textures
- Joyful Squares

Designer Series Paper:
- Square Snippets
- Beautiful Gallery

My brother loves cats, so the Cutest Crew kitty was perfect for his card — it’s just so cute. For my journal page, I added the dogs (I’m definitely more of a dog girl). I thought it would be fun to have the cats on the card and the dogs on the journal page, both interacting with the gears.

Close‑up of the Cutest Crew cat — coloured with Smoky Slate Blends and accented with Pretty Peacock and Pretty in Pink.

Layered with Square Snippets and Beautiful Gallery DSP, plus cardstock in Smoky Slate, Secret Sea, Cloud Cover and Pretty Peacock.  The card is 210mm x 148mm and scored at 105mm.

The gears were leftovers from another project, plus a few extras cut from Smoky Slate to tie in with this week’s colour theme.

---

πŸ“ Journal Page Details

I used a Joyful Squares stamp on the front of my journaling pages — it worked perfectly in the spot where I write my thoughts and the date.

Weekly journal page featuring the dogs from Cutest Crew, coloured with Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Medium Deep Combo Blends. Backing card is 190mm x 132mm.

The dogs playing with gears — a fun contrast to the cats on the card.

The sentiments on both projects are cut using the Stylish Shapes dies.
