I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day. I enjoy day's like this as it gives me a good excuse to make a card for someone special in my life. I am a great believer that it is a day to be thankful for the people that we love and hold dear and close to us. In my case is it my wonderful partner who is my greatest support especially of my paper crafting. Anyway this is the card I designed.
I used the Forever Lovely stamp set, Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the Lovely Lipstick Card, Well Written Framelits using Olive Green and Lovely Lipstick card, and the Rectangle Stitched Framelits on Whisper White card. The card base is Whisper White Thick card 210mm x 148mm and scored at 105mm and the Heart paper is from the All My Love Designer Series Paper 142mm x 99mm. The hearts on the Whisper White Card rectangle is stamped with the stamp in the Forever Lovely stamp set and I used Pink Pirouette and Lovely Lipstick ink pads.

The inside of the card I stamped the words from Forever Lovely and stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink pad.
The heart in the corner was cut out using some of the left over hearts after cutting out the rectangle as I had stamped an area on Whisper White card larger than the rectangle. I used the heart from Well Written Framelits and then used dimensionals to 3D it.

The flowers and stem are from the Well Written Framelits and I cut them out using Olive Green and Lovely Lipstick card. In the middle of the flowers I used a pearl. The other leaves, sentiment and hearts on the sentiment banner are from the Forever Lovely stamp set and cut out using the Lovely Flowers Edgelits. I cut out the sentiment with a rectangle from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.

I was given this chocolate by one of our EA's at work.... I thought this was a lovely gesture to share the love and friendship we have.

I can see the card design being used for an anniversary or a wedding card..... or maybe a mother's day card.

I hope you enjoyed the design. If you have any queries please feel free to leave me a comment.... or just leave a comment, would love to hear from you. All the products can be purchased from my online store, just click on the Shopping Cart.

Thank you for reading and until next time have a lovely day😃

January has been a busy month in the craft room.  I had two cards to make, one for a very good friend and one for my sister-in-law.  Below are the two cards I made using some old stock I have and some of the new products from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue.

The base card is Whisper White Thick Cardstock 210mm x 148mm and scored at 105mm.  The pick cardstock is some old stock I had laying around, it is very similar to Peekaboo Pink.  It measures 142mm x 99mm and then I embossed it using one of my favourite embossing folders, Tufted, just love the quilted look it gives.  I then added some pearls.... just on the parts that would be seen.  The glimmer leaf is punched out using the Leaf punch and Myths & Magic Glimmer paper which you still can purchase through the clearance rack.  The label and sentiment are from the Stitched All Around Bundle... this has been a favourite of mine and have used it on a few projects.  The roses are stamped from the Cake Soirée stamp set and cut out using the Sweet Cake Framelits.  I used Olive Green for the leaves and stamped using Lovely Lipstick.  The butterflies are from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue.  The Bundle is called Butterfly Gala and it includes a stamp set and a duet punch.  It is a lovely set and the punch and butterfly stamps match up perfectly.  I embossed the butterflies with gold embossing powder and coloured them in using my Lovely Lipstick Blender pens in the dark and light.  I used dimensionals for the sentiment, the roses and butterflies.

This is the card I sent to my girlfriend.  I added the J using the Gold Glimmer paper and the Large Letters Framelits to personalise it.

The card above is the same as the one at the top except I used the new embossing folder out of the 2019 Occasions Catalogue called the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.   This is such a beautiful embossing folder, I can see it being used for many of my projects.  I placed the pearls in the centre of the flowers.

To personalise it for my sister-in-law I added the K using again the Gold Glimmer paper and the Large Letters Framelits.

Please feel free to leave a comment.  If you wish to purchase any of the items click on the links or go to my Shopping Cart on the right hand side.

Thank 😀

Organising Craft Room

Over the Christmas break I was determined to put some order into my craft room.   I went on line to search out a unit I could use to organise some of my ever growing craft collection.  I found something very similar to a bureau we had in our lounge my partner wasn't too fond of but had sentimental meaning to me.  I asked my partner if I could have it for the craft room and have it painted white.... before I got all the words out we had it cleared out and moved into the garage ready to be painted.

It just fitted in the craft room and I am very happy to be organised for another year.  Did you manage over the Christmas break to do any crafting or do as I did and get a bit more organised?

Get A Free Ink Pad Assortment When You Join My Team

Along with the benefit of purchasing $235 worth of items for $169, during the month of July you can also choose 10 ink pads from the same colour family for FREE!  It doesn’t matter if you want to create a small business or just want to remain a hobbyist, you can join and receive 20% off your purchases.  You can leave at anytime.  For more information, please read below.

1.    Make the list of products you would like in your Starter Kit (this can be up to $235 but not over), as well as deciding which colour family you would like your free ink pad collection to be (you can only choose a complete colour family, not individual ink pads)

2.    Write this down with product names and item numbers. If you don’t have a current catalogue, you can view all the products in the online store here. You can also download the PDF of the catalogues here.

3.   Go to my Online Sign Up Page to begin.  It will look like this and should have my name in the top right hand corner

4.   Read through the Acknowledgement and Consent to Electronic Agreement and tick the ‘acknowledged’ box to the right underneath this.

5.   Read through the Independent Demonstrator Agreement and tick the ‘acknowledged’ box to the right underneath this, then press continue.

6.   The next screen you will come to is this.

a.   Check the round box to select the $169 Starter Kit Value.

b.   Check the ‘no’ button to the question ‘Do you have a Stampin’ Rewards Starter Kit Code?’ (this is just for a workshop host) and click ‘Apply’

7.   The next section is where you choose your colour family for the 10 free ink pads. Just click the round circle under the colour family you choose.

8.   The next screen will pop up with ‘Choose Your FREE Business Supplies Pack’. This is where you get your free box of catalogues to give to family and friends so check the little round circle to the left of the image.

9.   You now get to the section where you build the rest of your Starter Kit. You can choose products up to the value of $235 (but not over). You can search for the items to add by the item number (from the catalogue) or the product name. A range of options will come up and you click ‘add’ for the one you want. As you add each item it will appear in the list under the box that shows the items. The yellow highlighted section keeps track of how much retail value you have left to choose. When you get as close as you can to $235, click continue.

10. The next screen is where you fill in all your personal information and shipping information. You don’t need to enter the Drivers Licence number or ABN (unless you already have one). The GST registration is set to answer ‘no’ so you only need to change that if you are registered for GST. The supporting spouse question to the right refers to your spouse being able to attend training events, place orders and the likes for your business. There is a section in the agreement that refers to more information about this.

11. Click continue and you will come to the screen where you can review the information to ensure it is correct, and then add your credit card information to pay for your Starter Kit. Stampin’ Up! has a very secure system.

12. Click SUBMIT and you’re done. You will get your Demonstrator Information, and you will also be emailed passwords to access the Demonstrator Website and Stampin’ Connection. I will also receive an email to indicate you have signed up and will be able to send you invitations to join my team Facebook group.

13. There’s a few things to do to get started on the demonstrator website but I can help walk you through those.

14. Your starter kit should leave the warehouse within 48 hours. To see what day it is shipped, you can go to Ordering / Check Order Status on the Demonstrator Website.

If you have and queries please feel free to contact me.
