πŸ’œ Hydrangea Hue – Art With Heart Team Colour Creations Blog Hop (Week 4)

A group of the Art With Heart Team is hopping through the Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order, and week 4 is all about Hydrangea Hue. I’ve been so excited for this colour — especially after seeing the Delicate Dreams SDSP used by some of my team members at a gathering back in February. Of course, it went out of stock right after… so I had to wait until April to finally order it!

This week I’m sharing my weekly journal page, and Hydrangea Hue was the perfect feature colour for it. The background and all the flowers (yes, all fussy‑cut!) are from the Delicate Dreams DSP. I paired it with the Capturing Smiles bundle, which I adore because I’m always taking photos and love adding little memories to my journal.

πŸ“ Project Measurements

Secret Sea backing layer: 190mm × 132mm
SDSP layer: 184mm × 126mm
Secret Sea behind the camera: 100mm × 80mmI cut the center out of the large Secret Sea backing piece so I could use that off‑cut behind the camera — no waste!

πŸ“Έ Project Details

  • Camera stamped in Hydrangea Hue on Hydrangea Hue cardstock
  • Lens stamped on Basic White and heat‑embossed with WOW! Copper to match the copper accents in the SDSPSentiments stamped in Hydrangea Hue on Basic White
  • Journaling pages designed as little cameras and stamped in Hydrangea Hue for a fun feature
  • I didn’t plan where the sentiments would go (classic me!), but I love how they nestled into the layout without covering any of the details
I had so many photos to choose from this week that I needed a larger page — and honestly, that’s probably why I love the Capturing Smiles bundle so much. I’m always snapping photos, and I love looking back at the memories.

I hope my journal page inspires you.
