Filming of Card Making

A few weeks ago a friend helped me to film me making some cards.  I am very lucky to have wonderful friends to help me and one being Nick who has done a lot of work in the filming industry.  He, his wife and my partner set up the kitchen table with cameras, monitors, lighting and sound..... I felt like a TV star!  They all left me in front of running cameras to do my thing.... to make cards for you.  It was a great experience and hope to continue to bring you new ideas and to show you how to make them.  I think the hardest part of the whole video process was the editing.... trying to cut out me rambling on and all my bloopers.  I hope you enjoy the videos, I have so far put up 4 videos for you to enjoy.  Below are some of the photos we took before filming started.

The beautiful Golden Retriever.... who you may hear in one of my videos

The reward after all my filming..... chocolate martini made by my wonderful girlfriend... yum!

Waterfront Stamp Set Video #4

The Waterfront stamp set has to be one of my favourites at the moment.  I have used the set in quite a few designs, see some of the photos below the video.  I used to go to art classes to try and paint/draw like this stamp set, so this set is also helping me create the images I liked to paint and draw yay!  I do love seeing artwork that is painted and then separated with the little gaps up on the wall and decided to try it on a card.  This was the first video of the four videos I made a month ago.  Some of the sound dropped out in this video so I had to record some of the audio and edit it altogether.... which was a challenge but I had a friend who is an expert and was able to guide me through to be able to bring you this video.  I am looking forward to making some more videos to give you inspiration so look out for them weekly.  I hope you enjoy the video.  Please feel free to leave me a comment or any queries you have below.  Sit back, relax and enjoy the video.

Petal Palette Video #3

Hello!  I have made another video using the Petal Palette Bundle (145974).  This stamp set is very versatile and comes with 2 stamp sets.  I love the effect of the stamps, the lighter and darker parts when you stamp the stamp.  In the framelite set there are a couple of banners which I will be using in many of my designs... they are just so gorgeous!  I realised that when I made this video I used one of the Sale-A-Bration items Springtime Foil DSP and that finished March 2018 😞.  The good news is that I bought a few extra packs of the Springtime Foil DSP.  If you order the Petal Palette Bundle through me, I will send you a 6" x 6" packet of the Springtime Foil DSP.  The Occasions catalogue runs until the end of May 2018.  Follow this link to go to my shopping cart.  Without further ado, sit back, relax and enjoy the video.

Here is a card using the flowers in the Petal Palette Bundle

Here is a card using the bird again in the Petal Palette Bundle.... the banners at the top are the banners I was talking about above.

Sweet Bunny Easter Card #2

Hello again and welcome, here is my second video and I have used the Sweet Little Something stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue.  I have designed the card as an Easter card but I am planning to use the design in one of my up coming classes as a baby card.  I have added all the materials I have used through the video.  If there anything that you are interested in please feel free to contact me by leaving a comment below.  On the left side is my shopping cart if you wish to puchase any of the items in the video.  Without further ado... click on the play button, relax and enjoy. 😀

Easter Cute Little Bunny Card - First Video

I am very excited to share with you my first video.  It has been a while in the making and thanks to my friends and partner who helped make this happen for me I can finally load it here.  I feel I still need a little more practice at talking on the videos while making the cards.... but I hope you will enjoy the videos.  I have made this video to show you how easy it is to make a beautiful card.  Also included in the video are the products I have used..... that is if you are interested in purchasing the items, you just need to click on my shopping cart on the right hand side.   If you have any queries or would just like to leave me comment please feel free to do so below.  Without further ado... click on the play button, relax and enjoy.

Spontaneous Card Class

About a week ago one of my regular class attendees asked if I could run a class.  We managed to found another regular class attendee to join us.  I was worried that I wouldn't have enough cards for them to choose from or have everything set up but luckily I had made some cards from a previous class that we didn't end up making at the last class.  It ended up being a great night.  Below are the cards the ladies made.  Great work ladies!

The Golden Retrievers bed ended up under the craft table.... I think she quite liked it.
